It is that time of year again in which we ask our BHS families to complete the annual 5-Essentials survey. This survey is sent to Illinois school families every year. Each year the results help BHS identify strengths and weaknesses in our school’s learning environment. We use this data at the start of every school year to set goals for improvement. Likewise, these surveys are used by ISBE as a portion of the ranking process for Illinois schools. The past several school years, Brimfield High School has been ranked Exemplary by ISBE. Last year, BHS even ranked in the top 1% of Illinois High Schools. We believe that we can do that again! Please complete the survey and help us continue to make improvements to the educational experience for your students. You may complete the survey by clicking https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/?target_name=parent&p=1. Once you have completed the survey, print the final submission page or snap a picture of it. Print the page, sign it, and send it to school with your BHS student. When they turn it into the office it will grant them the opportunity to leave school early on March 19th and 20th, our early dismissal days for Parent/Teacher conferences. With their guardian signed 5-Essentials submission page, they may leave after their last hour class, giving them the afternoon to have lunch with friends or hang out and start their Spring Break!

BHS driver's education class has a lab day and rotates through parallel parking practice today. Thank you to Mr. Porter for incorporating these rotating "lab days" to build driving practice into the class schedule.
