Brimfield girls won their first team conference win in school history! The girls won by 17 strokes with a 441. Nicole Detmers finished as All-Conference medalist, Addison Przybylo was tied for 3rd and Rachel Fell finished in 5th place!
Brimfield boys finished just 4 shots behind IB to finish runner up with a 328. Will Snyder finished as All-Conference medalist with a 76. Westin Smith finished tied for 6th place with an 80!

Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, and Community Members,
I am writing to provide an update regarding the District’s recent assessment of indoor air quality (IAQ) in our school facilities. The health, safety, and well-being of our students and staff remain among our highest priorities. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing safe and healthy learning environments, the District conducted a comprehensive review and assessment of indoor air quality throughout our school facilities.
I am pleased to share that the investigation and testing did not identify any major indoor air quality problems at any of our facilities. The assessment did not reveal conditions that would indicate a significant concern for the health or safety of our students or staff. You can review the reports for each building on our website.
The assessment included a review of building conditions and environmental factors that can contribute to indoor air quality concerns. Where observations or conditions warranted attention, they were reviewed and addressed as appropriate. The District will continue to monitor these areas and take corrective action when necessary. Instead of being reactive, the District will be proactive in the future and will continue to invest in an IAQ program.
It is important to recognize that maintaining good indoor air quality is an ongoing process. Factors such as ventilation, temperature, humidity, building materials, cleaning practices, and normal building maintenance can all affect the indoor environment. Our facilities and maintenance staff will continue their regular inspections and maintenance practices to help ensure our buildings remain safe, comfortable, and conducive to learning.
We also appreciate the cooperation of our staff, students, and families throughout this process. If concerns arise regarding the indoor environment of one of our schools, we encourage those concerns to be reported so they can be reviewed promptly and appropriately.
The District will continue to be proactive in monitoring the condition of our facilities and addressing issues before they become significant concerns. We are committed to transparency and will continue to communicate with our school community when information is important to share.

Our Entrepreneurship students spent a great morning at the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center!
During the visit, students explored what it means to have an entrepreneurial mindset and talked through the process of turning an idea into a potential business. They also learned about local resources that are available to help entrepreneurs take those important next steps.
A big thank you to the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center and the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) for welcoming us, sharing their experiences and resources, and taking the time to answer our students’ questions. They even made sure we were well taken care of with fresh donuts to start the morning!
Experiences like this give our students the opportunity to connect what they are learning in the classroom with the real world. We are thankful to have community partners who are willing to invest their time in our students and support their learning!

Due to the wet conditions at Maple Lane Country Club today's JV golf match hosted by Elmwood has been canceled.

The high school volleyball team is taking orders for the annual Brimfield-Elmwood Volley for a Cure Volleyball Match t-shirts. This years match will be played at Elmwood on October 6th. Order forms are due back to the high school or grade school office no later than September 23rd.

Brimfield Golf — Prairieland Conference
Tournament Recap - The Brimfield boys golf team competed in the Prairieland Conference Tournament at Macomb Country Club, 18 holes, and finished 3rd with a team score of 344. Will Snyder finished runner up with a 74. The Brimfield girls finished 3rd with a team score of 419. Rachel Fell finished in 10th place with a 97.
