Mr. Zehr and Ms. Barrow and numerous staff continue to bring a little holiday cheer with them each day. Our cafeteria staff stepped up and decorated all their doors this year. And Holly Jolly volleyball kicked off today!

The gift back program for both the grade school and the high school will continue through Monday.
If you painted an ornament during the PTO Art at the Bodega paint night ornaments are coming home. Please be sure you check backpacks to keep them safe.

Due to the forecasted snow storms the boys high school basketball game at home against Havana has been canceled and the girls high school basketball game at Midwest Central has been canceled. These games will be rescheduled.

The Superintendent and Board of Education of Brimfield Community Unit School District No. 309 are aware of reports that High School Principal Marcy Steele recently posted a photograph on social media showing an obscene gesture pointed toward the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. District representatives do not condone the obscene gesture shown in the now deleted post and have formally addressed the matter with Principal Steele. To her credit, she has acknowledged that use of this obscene gesture was a mistake as it does not reflect well on herself or the school district generally. She has apologized to the administration and the board as well as the high school student body. The Superintendent and the Board consider her actions in this single instance an exception to Mrs. Steele's many years of commendable service in the District and support her in her efforts to effectively lead the high school into the future.
