Great morning to kick off XC! Both teams raced at the Tom Koonce Redbird Invite in Metamora. The varsity girls team placed 2nd out of 19 teams. Kendall Johnston placed 3rd in the girls open and Jensen Blundy placed 9th in the boys varsity race!

Brimfield boys secured their third consecutive victory, defeating both Canton and Elmwood tonight at Maple Lane Country Club. Remarkably, all six varsity players achieved top ten placements, with Dane Fagerburg emerging as the medalist (36) and Westin Smith securing the runner-up position (37). Despite Brimfield not having a girls’ team, Nicole Detmers managed to finish as the runner-up, while Rachel Fell placed fourth among the three competing schools. Great job everyone! Brimfield’s next match is Tuesday night at Wee-Mah-Tuk GC against North Fulton starting at 4pm

BHS teachers spent the afternoon reviewing MTSS data protocols for additional supports for students; they also dove into 5-Essentials data gathered from students, parents, and teachers to set goals for rigor, engagement, and collaboration.

U.S. History 1 students working in groups researching and sharing information about theories of migration to North America.
