Some updates and reminders before we head into Spring Break!
1. No school next week for Spring Break- we return Tuesday, April 7th!
2. There are only 5 days left to save $25 on your registration for @CampInvention at Brimfield High School! Sign up today to give your child a summer filled with hands-on STEM fun using code SPK25. #Hurry invent.org/mysummercamp
3. Most of the IAR Assessments will take place when we return from break- have a great breakfast, good night sleep, and be on time!

Students in Kindergarten traveled back in time and were Masons, Blacksmiths, Carpenters- they used sugar cubes and peanut butter as brick and mortar, foil to make boats, and Lincoln logs to build structures. These stations supported their CKLA Reading Unit on Colonial Times and the vocabulary that matched it.

Our kitchens are better than yours!! Not really but we are so proud of both kitchens for excellent ratings.

BHS Student Council is sponsoring a toy drive.

Dear Brimfield Village Board,

I wanted to thank you for the installation of two new light poles on Jackson Street making an entrance, exit, and crosswalk more visible for the students, staff, and community in the evenings.

Having more lights in that area assists the safety for those who walk from our student parking lot and high school to the athletic complex parking lot and back.

With many events throughout the year, we have a great amount of overflow parking, and having the extra lights at night will make that area safer for vehicles and pedestrian traffic. We appreciate your support.

Thank you again for improving our village, school district, and community.

Sincerely,

Chad Jones
