Physical Education

Physical Education at Brimfield High School is a required course for graduation. The class is worth one-half credit per semester. The majority of this class places a heavy emphasis on cooperation and participation. Each nine week session is divided into two units consisting of a variety of activities including flag football, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, badminton, ping-ping, roller skating, softball, indoor beach volleyball, and a recreation unit.
The class also has daily requirements in fitness components such as weight lifting, jump rope, running, walking, and stretching.
Grading is based upon the four areas of cooperation/participation, skill testing, written testing, and fitness. This class is co-ed from 9-12th grade.
