Hello, my name is April DeVena. Currently I am in my sixth year of teaching art at Brimfield High School. I teach Art 1 and 2 which are entry/basic level courses, as well as, Ceramics 1 and 2, Mixed Media/Sculpture, and Painting.
I graduated from The University of Iowa with a degree in Studio Art and Art Education. As an art instructor, I am certified to teach kindergarten through 12th grade. I have also obtained a MAT degree from Rockford College.
Along with teaching, I also coach junior high cross country. I have just completed my forth season.
