Mr. Carlson is in his 19th year at the Brimfield School District. During his first 8 years he taught at the Junior High & High School (JH History, JH Health, & 2 HS PE classes). 11 years ago he became a full time high school teacher. Mr. Carlson now teaches US History, Civics, and Consumer Education.
Mr. Carlson also coaches the Varsity Boy's Basketball team. He has coached JH cross-country, 8th grade boy's basketball, JV boy's basketball and now he is beginning his 11th year at the varsity level.
Mr. Carlson is a graduate from AlWood High School (1979); and graduate from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga (1983); and he has a Master's Degree, in Education, from Olivet University (2004).
Mr. Carlson is married to Laurie, his wife of 23 years. Laurie works for the Association of Child Development. They have 2 children - Evan (20) is a senior at Bradley University studying History and Computer Science; Hannah (17) is a senior at Calvary Christian School in Chillicothe.
