free school dental exams

Miles of Smiles, Ltd. is a traveling dental group that goes to schools providing dental examinations to qualifying children. We have scheduled them to come to our school on
March 28, 2012.
Miles of Smiles, Ltd and The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services have arranged free dental service for eligible children. These services may include an exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment and sealants. Licensed dentists, hygienists, and assistants will come to Brimfield Grade School with portable equipment.
Your child was given a form that must be completed and returned to school to take advantage of this free service. If you would like for your child to get a free dental exam, complete all of the required information on the form and return it to school by Monday, January 23. No forms will be accepted after Thursday, January 26.
The technicians from Miles of Smiles will complete a dental form for your child that will be accepted as a school dental exam. Dental exams are required for pre-k, kindergarten, 2nd grade, 6th grade and 9th grade. If your child has not yet had their dental exam, or needs one for the next school year, you can take advantage of this free service and get their required dental exam done right here during the school day!
