Chess Team Results at East Peoria Central

Students from Brimfield Grade School attended the East Peoria Central Jr. High Chess Tournament on November 19, 2011. Congratulations to our participants for the awards they received. Both Sam Hedrick and Michael Adlington were undefeated and took home first place trophies in the sixth grade division. Matt Gerontes finished with the third best score in the eighth grade division while only losing one game and Aiden Perry also only lost one of his matches and took home a medal in the sixth grade division. The whole team did a great job and we are proud of the way they represented our school at the tournament.
