New Traffic Guidelines at Dismissal

Beginning on Monday, October 04, 2010 traffic movement around dismissal time will change to ensure a safer environment for students. There will be different procedures that may affect how and where students are picked up after school.
1. High School students will be exiting the high school parking lot prior to the arrival of the buses. All cars leaving the lot will turn East.
2. The first bus leaving the grade school will block the intersection of Monroe and Clinton so no traffic will pass.
3. The Clinton St. Entrance of the parking lot across the street from the high school (south) will be closed everyday at 8:10 and not opened until 3:30. All cars entering and leaving this lot will need to use the Monroe street entrance.
4. Under no circumstances will high school students be allowed to cut through this parking lot for a "short cut."
5. Parents picking grade school students up on Monroe street will experience some congestion until all the buses have cleaned the intersection. Please remind your children to be very careful and look both ways before crossing this street.
