Supporting Our Teams with Great Sportmanship

We certainly have a lot to be proud of in the performances of our Girls and Boys Basketball Teams at Brimfield High School. These teams and coaches have exhibited outstanding effort and determination all season and have experienced success throughout the season. We have all enjoyed the ride and we hope to continue with Boys Team.
Exhibiting sportsmanship is part of having a quality athletic program, and we intend to make sure that sportsmanship is an integral part of our basketball program. WE HAVE RECEIVED COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE BEHAIVORS OF SOME OF OUR FANS, BOTH STUDENTS and ADULTS. As an Indian Fan, support our team, cheer for our team, encourage our team.
Yelling at the officials does nothing – you are not changing their mind or influencing them. Taunting the other team, their coach, their fans is unnecessary and does nothing to help our team win. There is no room for any of these behaviors at a game.
Be proud of the fact that WE ARE BRIMFIELD and we have a great team. Let’s support our team – loudly – but always by showing we are a class act.
