Referendum for New School Passes!
By Dennis McNamara

The referendum to build a new high school was passed by a wide margin with 62% (802 votes) in favor and only 38% (493 votes) against the measure. Over 43% of all eligible voters participated on election day which is a very high number in a non-presidential election year. The community of Brimfield has cast their vote to build a facility that our students both deserve and need. The tax payer's support for this project, especially during a weak economic period, says a great deal about their commitment to our children's education and future.
