What is Pre-Kindergarten?

In 2008 Brimfield School District added an all day, 4 year olds, district funded, Pre-K classroom.  Brimfield Pre-K is a kindergarten readiness classroom.  This 4 year old classroom follows the Brimfield school district calendar.  Our Pre-K curriculum is a developmentally appropriate kindergarten readiness classroom that focuses on a curriculum rich in phonemic awareness, math awareness, and reading readiness.

Who can attend Pre-Kindergarten?

Students must be 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year. Students must be screened before they can be enrolled in the classroom.
