District Policy on School Cancellations

As a reminder, the district policy on canceling school due to inclement weather is as follows:
"School Cancellation due to severe weather conditions or uncontrollable situations will be made as early as possible, but no later than 7:00 a.m." In the event a school day is canceled due to severe weather all activities and school sponsored events are also considered canceled. School cancelation announcements are made on the media outlets listed below.
Television: WMBD - 31, WHOI - 19, WEEK - 25
Radio - AM 1470, 1290
FM 93.3, 106.9, 91.5, 95.5. 92.7, 105.3, 97.3, 107
Currently the school has an emergency notification system where parents can register their names and phone numbers to be notified when school has been canceled. If you have not registered or been added to the system (or have a change of phone number) please call the district office, Lynn England, 446-3378.
