Child Development
Some of the topics that will be discussed in this course are:
- Growing with children
- Effective parenting skills
- Prenatal development
- Preparing for birth
- The baby’s arrival
- Development from the first year through the third year of life
This year I have a wonderful group of girls who are all excited about child development. The class has been going to the grade school and helping with one of the kindergarten classes. The students have had so much fun. The high school students have been able to learn new information and then apply it directly to their volunteer work. We really appreciate the kindergarten class allowing us to come in and work with them.
