7th Grade Celebrates Black History

by Julie Conn

March 05, 2010

Mrs.Conn’s 7th grade English class spent the month of February researching and learning about African Americans in United States history. They were to investigate how these individuals have made a positive impact on our society and how they have changed the course of history. Throughout the course of study the students did research, wrote a paper, cited their sources, drew a blueprint of their project and finally created a monument honoring their special person. Their efforts, creativity and hard work is evident in the final product. I could not be more pleased with these amazing students! Congratulations 7th grade on a job well done! Please visit the site below to view the video of the monuments the students created. Feel free to leave positive feedback!
