On Tuesday, May 26th, Brimfield Web Design/Media Students attended the Board of Directors meeting of the Central Illinois Workforce Network where they were presented checks for their efforts in creating a youth video entitled "Jobs in Central Illinois." Adam Unes, Paige Spietz, Jaden Maher, and Ty Kieser were each presented checks for $100, as part of winning $400 for planning, producing, editing, as well as acting in their video creation. Board members were able to view the videos before the award was made. Awards were presented at the monthly breakfast/board meeting by Director Bashir Ali. In attendance were parents, teachers, and administrators from the other two winners- Richwoods High School and Washington High School; as well as Superintendant Gerald Brookhart and PERFECT Director Carol Leach. The purpose of the video contest is to encourage students to research and produce videos that highlight jobs/employment in Central Illinois. The Brimfield Business Education students' entries were one of three groups from Brimfield High School to enter. Congratulations again to Adam, Ty, Jaden, and Paige!
