Bicycle Helmet Grant Awarded To BGS
Through a grant written by Mrs. Blane and the PTO the school has been selected as one of Children’s Hospital of Illinois’ 2011 UNDERCOVER Bicycle Helmet Program winning school! Every child K-5th grade will receive a bicycle helmet. The students will be fitted for their helmet on April 26th and then there will be an assembly on May 24th to award the students with their new safety feature. Congratulations to Aaron Maher for winning the section 5 FFA Agriculture Research-Plant System award for completing his SAE record book. He will be competing at the district level on March 14 in Geneseo. Good luck Aaron! read more
Brimfield Spelling Bee Winners
Twenty-one students participated in the Brimfield Grade School Spelling Bee, which took place on Thursday, January 26, 2012.
