Law Day at Brimfield Grade School
by Mr. Henson
April 11, 2008
The grade school recognized Law Day on April 11th, by inviting Mrs. Maribeth Dura to speak to the 4th - 8th grades about law and what it means to be a lawyer. Mrs. Dura started her presentation off by telling the students about what she does as a lawyer and how she became a lawyer. She concluded her presentation by presenting a criminal case and letting the students decide guilt and innocence of the accused based on the state laws. It was very enriching for the students to lean about the legal system from someone who is actually within the profession and we would like to thank Mrs. Dura for taking the time to come and speak to us throughout the day.
