Jane Rosenbohm
7th & 8th Grade Literature
Teaching literature to 7th and 8th graders at Brimfield Grade School is my primary job. This is my 16th year at Brimfield and the only teaching position I have had, except for one semester as a substitute at Oak Grove West in Bartonville. Besidesteaching literature, I also teach Reading Workshop and Writing Workshop as electives. For many years I was the student council sponsor and a speech team coach. Recently I have taught a yearbook class fourth quarter so I can guide those
students to produce the BGS yearbook.
The University of Illinois was the first college I went to right
after high school. After two years there, I met and married
my husband John. Our four daughters kept me busy for many
years, but when the two oldest went away to college, I began
completing my bachelor's degree in elementary education at Bradley
University. I worked on my masters degree in curriculum and
instruction and received it, also from BU, in 2000.
